Kendra Zhang (Co-Founder, Executive Member)

Having played the violin since she was five years old, music has been an integral part of both Kendra's extracurricular pursuits and character. From building a strong work ethic to creating unity in diverse communities, it has enriched her life with subtle layers. Her aim is to share the simple pleasures it has brought her with others. Not only that, she has found it to be a means of humanizing the drabbest of environments; an art that rekindles fond memories and inspires new ones; and a way to connect with people who may have difficulty with communication. Ultimately, she believes music to be splash of colour in everyday life, but also an aid in health and well-being. As a second year university student, She hopes to continue bringing music with her to hospitals and nursing homes, at home and in Kingston, or spontaneously and on-the-whim, wherever she goes.
